Haiti - FLASH : Guy Philippe calls on BSPA agents to put themselves into combat mode

Following the death of 5 agents from the Protected Areas Surveillance Brigade (BSAP) on Wednesday in Laboule during exchanges of fire with agents from the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-41621-haiti-flash-3rd-days-of-demonstrations-violence-deaths-and-destruction.html

The ex-elected senator and former rebel leader Guy Phillipe, who described the death of these 5 agents as "a hard blow", said on a radio station in the capital "[...] The attack having cost the lives of these agents, aimed to eliminate me physically" specifying that he had witnessed the tragedy since the vehicle he was in was on the scene a few meters from the shooting.

Guy Phillipe called on the BSPA agents (who pledged allegiance to him) to put themselves in combat mode and "attack then neutralize the defenders of the Ariel Henry Government..."

Concluding his intervention by reiterating his determination to overthrow the de facto Government led by Ariel Henry.
