Friday January 19, 2024, Ladies Monique André and Gally Amazan representing the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) co-signed a partnership agreement with Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of National Education and the Ministry of Sports (MJSAC). Just like the Haitian Basketball (FHB) and Volleyball (FHV) Federations.

According to the Ministry of Education, this partnership includes, among others, all students, from preschool to secondary school, recalling that Physical and Sports Education (EPS), Aesthetic and Artistic Education (EEA) , Introduction to Technology and Productive Activities (ITAP) and Citizenship Education (EC) will become compulsory subjects at school.

Among these themes, PE and particularly the football component, joins the FHF which was already working on the implementation of a FIFA program called “Football for School” involving young people of both sexes who do not have access to academies nor to football schools.
