Haiti - Justice : The investigating judge Voltaire heard PM Henry

In a press release the Ministry of Communication informs that Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry was heared as a witness on Tuesday December 26, 2023 by the Investigating Judge Walter W. Voltaire accompanied by his clerk "By special order of the Council of Ministers dated December 19, 2023, several major State officials, including the Prime Minister, Ministers and senior state officials were authorized to be heard by the courts as part of the investigation into the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-41269-haiti-news-zapping.html .

"The Prime Minister, who has always declared his confidence in the justice system of his country, answered the judge's questions, thus contributing to the manifestation of the truth in this painful matter. This is proof that, in our country, no one is above the law and that it is the duty of all of us to do what is in our power to ensure that justice is done to President Moïse, to his family and the entire nation," says the press release

The hearing took place in the Prime Minister's residence. In addition, Me Voltaire also heard on the same day Michel Patrick Boisvert, the Minister of Economy and Finance and Josué Pierre-Louis, the Secretary General of the Prime Minister's Office.
