From December 13 to 15, 2023 Frantz Elbe, Acting Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH) at the head of a Haitian delegation is in Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa), for an official visit of 3 days before the deployment of the Multinational Security Support Mission (MMSS) in Haiti.

During its stay, the delegation is expected to hold bilateral discussions on security between law enforcement agencies of the two countries. On Wednesday 13, the Haitian delegation met with Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome on December 13, 2023, at the headquarters of the National Police in Nairobi.

The first team of Kenyan police officers is expected to fly to Haiti in February 2024.
