he communications office of the Presidency informs us that the President Michel Martelly has left the country, this Thursday, October 27, 2011, for the United States for health reasons. Haitian physicians will take care of him.

The Head of State will take advantage of his travel to participate in a fundraiser which will be organized in New York by the Goodwill Ambassador, Wyclef Jean. The funds raised will be destined to the free education program of the Head of State.

The President of the Republic will be back in Haiti on November 6.
