Haiti - South-East : The PNH dismantles a gang in Marigot

On the night of Friday December 1st to Saturday December 2nd, 2023, the South-East Police arrested 10 individuals who were part of a gang, operating in Figuier, a town in the commune of Marigot. They are accused, among other things, of criminal conspiracy, motorcycle-concho robbery, motorcycle theft and rape.

This police operation follows information available to the South-East Police concerning this gang, which had been established for several days in Figuier, led by Mackendy and Junior Sainsurin, both brothers and active members of the " Gran de Ravine »

During this operation, the names Wilken Louissaint, Jean Fredly Faustin, Dieufaite Coffy, Anderson Pierre alias "Anis", Stanley Sainsurin brother of Junior Sainsurin, Alienson Clerveau, Jean André Joassaint, Djouby Joassaint and Rood Jeef Duverger and Lavoiyis Pierre were arrested for their affiliation with this gang.

Two homemade weapons were found at Anderson Pierre's home. Furthermore, motorcycle parts and accessories found at Jean Fredly Faustin were also seized by the Police.

These 10 individuals are in police custody while awaiting the necessary legal action.
