Haiti - Carrefour-Feuilles : Major operation of the PNH at least 10 bandits killed

The Haiti National Police (PNH) continues to make interventions in Carrefour Feuilles to allow the population to return home and resume their activities in peace.

Saturday evening August 26, special units of the national police including the SWAT, the Intervention and Research Brigade (BRI), the temporary Anti-gang Unit (UTAGL), the Departmental Unit for the Maintenance of Order (UDMO) and the Corps of Intervention and Maintenance of Order (CIMO) have been mobilized against the armed men who want to take control of the neighborhood.

At least a dozen bandits were fatally injured in the exchange of fire with the forces and weapons belonging to the men of the gang leader "Ti lapli" were recovered, including assault rifles according to the National Union of Haitian Police Officers (SYNAPOHA) on its "X" account (former Twitter).

Note that since the beginning of the bandit attacks on the residents of Carrefour-feuilles, this is the first major operation carried out by the PNH.

The High Command asks the public to continue to cooperate to help the police identify the hideouts of the bandits so that they can make better decisions and develop the best strategies.
