Haiti - Training & Research : The National Airport Authority and the UEH strengthen their cooperation
Friday, August 18, 2023, engineer Yves Ducarmel François Director General of the National Airport Authority (AAN) and Fritz Deshommes Rector of the State University of Haiti (UEH) signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at promoting the training, research and services in the field of Civil Aviation and the airport sector which marks the start of cooperation between the two entities.

This Memorandum of Understanding reflects the commitment of the two partners to work together for the development of skills and research in the airport sector. It will allow UEH students to benefit from specific training programs, adapted to the needs of the airport sector. In addition, opportunities for practical internships will be made available to them in order to promote on-the-job learning.

Scientific research will also be encouraged thanks to this collaboration, with the implementation of joint projects aimed at improving airport practices and developing new technologies and procedures, modernizing airport infrastructures on national territory.

Finally, this partnership provides for the establishment of services to the community, particularly in terms of consultations and expertise offered by UEH professors and specialists. This openness to the service of society will make it possible to provide concrete solutions to the problems encountered in the airport sector and to improve the overall efficiency of operations.
