However, it should be noted that if this law, which is not applied, were, gasoline would sell for more (645 Gourdes) at the pump and diesel for less (550 Gourdes). According to a source close to the Association of Petroleum Distributors, by reducing the price of gasoline to 560 Gourdes, the State is already making a loss of 84.52 Gourdes... This announced strike, in addition to greatly disturbing the population already affected by a multifaceted crisis and daily violence, coincides with the conduct of the single and permanent baccalaureate exams, which will not fail to affect a large number of the 111,498 students enrolled.
