Friday July 14, 2023, Jean Victor Généus the Minister of Foreign Affairs accompanied by Fritz Deshommes, Rector of the State University of Haiti (UEH) and Henri Boucicaut the representative of the Coordinator of the Office of Management and Resources Humanes proceeded to the presentation of the Certificates of completion to the Promotion 2020-2022 of the Diplomatic Academy Jean Price Mars (ADJPM), called "Promotion Anténor Firmin".

In his speech for the occasion, the Director of the Academy, Dr Jean Guy-Marie Louis, stressed that "the ADJPM can be proud of having offered training to more than two hundred officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, some of whom today hold very senior positions both in central and external services" and sent its warmest congratulations to the 21 recipients of the outgoing promotion "whose performance over the past two years is not only due to their intelligence or their thirst for success, but also thanks to the work of the teachers."

For his part, Jessy Junior Massé, first laureate of the promotion, declared éthis graduation ceremony is for us, graduates of the Académie Diplomatique Jean Price Mars, a memorable event. We had to work to the best of our knowledge to meet the high requirements of the Program and, in turn, meet the expectations of the Administration."

Henri Boucicaut, in his address, urged the recipients to be "model civil servants, imbued with a sense of duty, acting honorably and impartially".

The Rector Fritz Deshommes, took the opportunity to congratulate the will and the courage of the professors who contributed to the training of these executives, by promising the accompaniment of the UEH in the enlargement of this partnership between the University of State of Haiti and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

For his part, Chancellor Généus welcomed the creation in 1996 of this Diplomatic Academy which continues to be the center of supply par excellence of qualified and competent diplomats for the country.
