On Wednesday June 21, 2023, on the sidelines of the summit "For a new global financial pact" which is being held on June 22 and 23, in Paris (France), the Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry, had an important meeting with the President of the Comoros, Azali Assoumani, also President of the African Union (AU).

During the warm discussions, the Head of Government spoke of the need for closer ties between Haiti and brotherly African countries, the place of our country within the African Union, the general situation prevailing in our country, the question of security and the possible support of African countries to our forces of order.

President Azali Assoumani assured Prime Minister Henry of the support of the African Union and the solidarity of the peoples of the AU.

In the end, Ariel Henry invited President Assoumani to come and visit Haiti, which is already reaching out to all the brotherly countries of Africa.
