The escalation of insecurity, disease and violence is only growing in Haiti. In this context, the Bishop of Anse-à-Veau-Miragoâne, Pierre-André Dumas, in an interview on Vatican News, spoke of the daily commitment of the local Church "We cannot stay away from suffering of our people [...] we must work for the normalization of the country by implementing a real 'Marshall plan' for integral human development," adding "we must respect the rules of justice and Right wing state.
