The PAP bar is sounding the alarm

Friday, May 19, 2023, several activities were organized by the Bar of Port-au-Prince around the theme "The Rule of Law : Challenge of the security situation in Haiti" including a mass of thanksgiving sung at the Montana hotel, on the occasion of the feast of St-Yves (patron saint of lawyers). The Bar of Port-au-Prince (PAP) is once again sounding the alarm. Me Marie Suzy Legros, President of the Port-au-Prince Bar Association, said she saw a flagrant violation of the rules of Rights, including human rights in Haiti.

Distribution of mum kits

On Friday, May 19, 2023, the International Organization for Migration (IOM - Haiti) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA - Haiti) organized a distribution of mother kits and essential supply kits, as well as mobile clinic for displaced women and girls in eastern Port-au-Prince. This strengthened partnership between IOM and UNFPA aims to prevent and respond to gender-based violence and the associated risks faced by women and girls affected by armed gang violence in Port-au-Prince.
