USA conditional stay : 81,000 Haitians waiting

6 bandits lynched

Tuesday April 2, 2023, residents of the Jalousie district (commune of Pétion-ville) lynched and burned at least 6 alleged bandits. The population is looking for other suspicious individuals in the localities of Sténio Vincent, Jalousie and Sergo.

A policeman stoned

Monday, May 1st in Port-de-Paix, the police officer Dérilien Emmanuel (29th promotion) was stoned and his body burned by the population near the cemetery of Saint-Louis du Nord, following a violent verbal altercation between the police officer and a car driver, during which the policeman injured two citizens with his service weapon.
