Faced with the scale, gravity and urgency of the humanitarian crisis in Haiti, the UN presented on April 13, a Humanitarian Response Plan of 720 million dollars https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-39298-haiti-flash-the-un-appeals-for-$720m-to-respond-to-the-humanitarian-emergency-in-haiti.html and a summary of this plan.

Following this presentation, the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on behalf of the Humanitarian Country Team and partners released a comprehensive and detailed consolidated document of this plan to provide life-saving assistance to 3.2 million Haitians.

Note that this year's appeal for Haiti is the highest since the 2010 earthquake, and more than double the amount requested in 2022.
