According to his lawyers, legally he is no longer suspended from practicing by FIFA, nothing prevents him from becoming President of the Federation again. "Dadou" intends to end his term shortened by FIFA and organize new elections in February 2024.

Furthermore, he stated that his lawyers were already working with FIFA to obtain compensation "[...] My lawyers are already working with FIFA to obtain compensation for the damage caused not only to me but also to the whole football family. In this sense, a letter was drafted by my lawyers on February 24, 2023.
