Several deaths at the Solomon Market

Friday, February 3, individuals on motorcycles opened fire on people who were at the Salomon market, causing a general panic. According to an unofficial report based on concordant testimonies, 5 people were killed and several others injured. The reason for this armed attack is unknown.

Donation of IT equipment

Friday, February 3rd, 2023, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Haiti handed over computer equipment to the "Fondasyon Ayiti Toma" for a computer center. This donation aims to contribute to the socio-professional integration of young people in difficult situations, including those living with a disability from vulnerable neighborhoods. This project plans to train 300 young girls and boys per year from neighborhoods such as Tabarre, Port-au-Prince, Ganthier and Croix-des-Bouquets.
