Master II in Diplomacy and International Cooperation

On Sunday January 22, 2023, at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the written tests for the entrance examination to the Master II Program in Diplomacy and International Cooperation of the Académie Diplomatique Jean Price Mars took place, in partnership with the Institute National of Administration, Management and Advanced International Studies.

The PM in Argentina

Acting Prime Minister Ariel Henry left the country on Sunday, January 22, 2023 for Buenos Aires (Argentina), where he will participate, on Tuesday, January 24, in the VII Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC). As part of the bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit, the Head of Government will meet with several Heads of State and Government. During his absence from Haiti, the interim will be provided by Michel Patrick Boisvert, Minister of Economy and Finance.

Named François Duvalier Airport when it was inaugurated, this airport was renamed Maïs-Gâté Airport, after the name of the area where it is located, after the fall of Jean-Claude Duvalier. President Jean-Bertrand Aristide renamed it "Toussaint Louverture Airport" in 2003.

Death of Marie-Lucie Chancy

Emmelie Prophète Milcé, the Minister of Culture pays tribute to Marie-Lucie Chancy, art historian, professor of art history, aesthetics and literature, who died on Thursday January 19, 2023. Madame Chancy was Director of the National School of Arts. With in particular Max Chancy, Pierre Riché, Lesly Manigat, of whom she was the first wife, Mrs. Chancy, in the early 1950s, she founded the Center for Secondary Studies. She was a founding member of the Culture Creation Foundation. In 2013 she published her first and only work of fiction "Caravelle". Minister Milcé asks the family, allies and friends of Professor Marie-Lucie Chancy to receive her condolences.
