To assert what is right :

Doha, 7 December 2022,

The Fédération Internationale de Football Association, located FIFA-Strasse 20, 8044, Zurich, Switzerland is the international governing body for football which holds the exclusive rights:

(i) the organization of the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ ("Event"); and

(ii) the license of the rights to broadcast this event on all media.

FIFA has been informed of an unauthorized broadcast of the "Event" in Haiti by Haitian television channels.

FIFA hereby confirms that Verticast Media Group (located at 1 Bourbon Street, Bourbon House, Castries, St. Lucie) is the one and only broadcaster authorized to exploit the media rights for the 2022 World Cup™ in Haiti https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-38264-haiti-flash-the-tnh-no-longer-has-the-right-to-broadcast-the-qatar-2022-world-cup-for-the-moment.html

FIFA will not tolerate any violation of these media rights and reserves the right to take any legal action to defend its interests. [...]
