Haiti's Ambassador to the United States Bocchit Edmond, during a forum at Fordham University Law School on Nov. 22 in New York, said the current crisis presents "a historic opportunity" for Haiti to undertake transformational institutional reforms, to organize fair, free and transparent elections, paving the way for direct investments, massive jobs and promoting political stability and social peace.
