Famni Lavalas : a member of the Management Board kidnapped

Saturday October 29, 2022 in Puits-Blain near Delmas 75, the former Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, Anthony Dessources, current member of the Executive Board of the Fanmi Lavalas party, was kidnapped by unidentified armed individuals.

Macabre history of "witchcraft"

HIFF : 2 award-winning Haitian films

As part of the 7th edition of the Haiti International Film Festival (HIFF) organized in the United States, the film "Freda" directed by Gessica Généus was rewarded in the category of best film, and the film "Jean-Jacques Dessalines, the winner of Napoleon Bonaparte”, directed by Arnold Antonin, received the prize for best documentary film.

OAS : Security situation in Haiti

Léon Charles, Permanent Representative of Haiti to the Organization of American States (OAS) participated this week in a working session between the Permanent Mission of Haiti to the OAS and the Council of Delegates of the Inter-American Defense Junta on on the security situation in Haiti. Consulates and Embassies of Haiti closed

The Consulates and Embassies of Haiti advise the public in general and the Haitian Community in particular that their premises will be closed on Tuesday November 1st and Wednesday November 2nd, 2022, on the occasion of "All Saints Day and the Day of the Dead". Services will resume as usual on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
