Haiti - FLASH : Michaël Benjamin «Mikaben» dies on stage in front of 20,000 fans (Video)
Saturday, October 15, the famous Haitian singer, composer, guitarist and producer Michael Benjamin (41) alias "Mikaben" invited by the Carimi group which was celebrating his reunion, when he had just performed his hit "Ou pati" suddenly collapsed on stage after having greeted a jubilant audience estimated at nearly 20,000 people leaving an audience in shock...

Very quickly, taken care of by the emergency services, victim of a heart attack, "Mikaben" unfortunately could not be resuscitated.

Discovered by the Haitian public in 1999, during the competition "Chante Nwèl" of Télémax, "Mikaben" had for twenty years a musical career crowned with success, whether in Haiti or abroad.
