As part of the fifth annual festival MITO (Milano and Torino), the group Racine Mapou "Rasin Mapou" will leave next Tuesday, September 13, for two concerts in Italy. Scheduled for several months in collaboration with Caracoli and InterArt Riviera SA, the concerts were maintained despite the loss of Lénord Fortuné "Azor", on July 16.

The first concert will be held in the city of Turin, Saturday, September 17 and the second in Milan, Sunday, Sept. 18 on the occasion of special part of the festival MITO entitled "Hearing Haiti." This part includes film screenings, the presentation of the book of Emmanuelle Honorin on the Haitian musics and the performances of Beken, Erol Josué, Moonlight Benjamin, Racine Mapou et Ti-Coca & Wanga-Nègès.

Racine Mapou will ensure these two concerts with the regular staff of the group [9 players] which will be strengthened for the vocals by Jasmin Nickel, who was accustomed to accompany Azor in his performances.

With the recording of the song "Lavi a kout, lamò a long" currently broadcast on the radio, these concerts in Italy, demonstrate that Racine Mapou will be there for a long time.
