The Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal advises that the Government of Quebec as part of its program to recruit internationally and train 1,000 nurses, will launch the process of recruiting fifty graduates in nursing in Haiti .

In fact, following the signing of the "Declaration of intent relating to labor mobility and training" by the Consul General, Dr. Fritz Dorvilier, and the Deputy Minister of Immigration, Francisation and Integration, Benoît Dagenais, the recruitment phase will begin on October 3, 2022.

Let's recall that in April 2022 the representatives of the Government of Quebec first took care to present to Consul General Dorvillier the nature and objectives of the project https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-36548-haiti-quebec-recruitment-project-of-about-fifty-nurses-in-haiti.html while clearly specifying that it was a project that would allow Haitian nurses to come and exchange their knowledge and professional experiences with their Quebec colleagues and to improve their skills and at the same time to work part-time as beneficiary attendants during a defined period of continuing education. This project is not intended to permanently immigrate Haitian nurses to Quebec.

To be eligible for this program, candidates must meet the following conditions :

1. Hold a higher education diploma in nursing;

2. Have a minimum of one year of experience in an environment comparable to health and social services establishments in Quebec, including six months in medicine and surgery within the last four years;

3. Have an advanced level of French (passing a French test will be required later in the process);

4. Be willing to settle in one of the targeted regions in Quebec.

Interested persons can submit their application from October 3 to 21, 2022 at: https://inscription.journeesquebec.gouv.qc.ca/Account/Login/Register

Deadline to accept a call for a job interview: November 2, 2022.

Job interviews will take place from 7 to 18 November 2022.
