According to the rules of the competition, at the end of the 1st round, the first three teams of each of the four groups will be qualified for the round of 16 where the four winning countries of the groups of the preliminary round are already waiting for them : Bermuda, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Puerto Rico.

These same regulations stipulate that the four semi-finalist countries of the Concacaf Championship U17 2023 will qualify for the FIFA World Cup Peru 2023.

Guatemala, in Central America, has been designated by Concacaf to host the 16 countries that will participate in the regional eliminatory championship (from February 11 to 23, 2023) with matches scheduled on two natural surface pitches : "El Estadio Penantivo" and "El Estadio Nacional Doroteo Guamuch Flores".
