The epicenter was located at 18.47 degrees north latitude and 73.22 degrees west longitude, 2.50 km south-east of Petite-Rivière-de-Nippes (Dept. Nippes), 14 km north-west of Miragoâne ( Dept. Nippes), 11.5 km north of Fonds-des-Nègres (Dept. Nippes) and 94 km south-west of Port-au-Prince (Dept. West), at a depth of 5 km.

No loss of life or damage has been reported so far by the Civil Protection in relation to this new earthquake...
