Sunday, September 11, 2022 in the afternoon, two of the seven journalists who were reporting in Cité Soleil, an area of almost permanent urban fighting between gangs, were killed.

They are online media journalists Frantzsen Charles, a student at SNAC who worked for FS News, and Tayson Lartigue, owner of his online media "Ti Jenn Jounalis".

Divisional Inspector Garry Desrosiers Spokesperson for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) confirmed "We have information that they were murdered", specifying however that the information could not be officially confirmed the bodies not having not been found.

Desrosiers encouraged journalists to be very careful when going to neighborhoods like Cité Soleil, where armed clashes are a daily occurrence...
