Cap-Haitien : Communal Development Plan

Friday, August 6, 2022, the official presentation ceremony of the Five-Year Communal Development Plan of the commune of Cap-Haitien took place in the presence of several personalities from civil society and members of the local community. The final document is almost ready and the process launched in July 2020 is complete. This plan was developed as part of the Municipal Development and Urban Resilience (MDUR) project financed by the World Bank and implemented by the Project Coordination Unit of the Ministry of the Interior with the technical support of the Institute of Training & Services (IFOS).

Failures of the international community

In 20 years of flawed political strategy the international community has not been able to facilitate the construction of a single institution with the capacity to respond to the problems of Haitians. 20 years later, not a single institution is stronger than it was before, recognizes the OAS which, despite everything, believes that Haiti cannot get out of it without the cooperation of the international community. The Minister of Culture in Montreal

Monday August 8, 2022, Fritz Dorvillier, the Consul General of Haiti in Montreal had the pleasure of welcoming the writer Emmelie Prophète and accompanying her as Minister of Culture to an important meeting with Marie Grégoire, President and CEO of the National Library and Archives of Quebec.

Discussion with the US Chargé d'Affaires

Friday, Berto Dorcé, the Minister of Justice and Public Security met Éric W. Stromayer Chargé d'affaires a.i of the United States in Haiti. On the agenda of the two men, there was talk, among other things, of strengthening cooperation between Haiti and the USA in the areas of justice, police and the fight against crime.
