Haiti - FLASH : Earthquake in the department of Nippes

This Monday, May 2, 2022 at 10:46 and 16 seconds in the morning, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded in Haiti in the Department of Nippes The epicenter was located at 18.447 degrees North latitude and 73.527 degrees West longitude, 8 km south-southwest of Petit Trou de Nippes (Dept. Nippes), 46 km west of Miragoâne (Dept. Nippes) and 130km southwest of Port-au-Prince (West Dept.), at a depth of 11.7 km. No loss of life or damage has been reported so far by the Civil Protection in relation to this new earthquake.
