Saturday April 9 on the lawn of the "Shirley Recreation Ground" of Road Town capital of the British archipelago of the Virgin Islands, our Grenadières made short work of the Virgin Islands team by rolling them [21-0].

Goals scored :

Two quadruplets:

(#22) Roselord Borgella [4’, 21’, 22’ and 45’]

(#7) Batcheba Louis [39', 42', 57' and 88']

To complete this crushing victory (#8) Danielle Etienne at 6' and (#20) Kethna Louis at 77' each scored a goal while K. Lewis of the Virgin Islands scored an own goal at 8'

Haiti leads Group E with 9 points ahead of Cuba. Cubans that our Grenadières will face on April 12, on the lawn of the Olympic Stadium Felix Sanchez in Santo Domingo. Our Grenadières only need a draw to win the only ticket giving access to the final phase of the CONCACAF Women's Championship to be held in Monterey, Mexico from July 4 to 18.

It should be noted that since the beginning of this qualifying phase for the FIFA World Cup, Australia and New Zealand 2023, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Gold Cup 2024, Haiti has not yet conceded any goal and has marked 38.

On the table of bedders Roselord Borgella with 9 goals occupies the first place followed by Batcheba Louis, 6 goals.

The Haitian delegation must leave the Virgin Islands this morning for the Dominican Republic.
