Indefinite strike announced by clerks

The National Association of Haitian Clerks (ANAGH) announces an indefinite strike by clerks starting Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in order to continue to demand better working conditions and force the authorities to implement the agreement concluded between the Ministry of Justice, ANAGH and the Union of Clerks of Haiti.

The PM promises a social program of 3 billion gourdes

Prime Minister Ariel Henry promises a social program that could reach 3 billion Gourdes to mitigate the impact of the food and economic crisis between April and September 2022. The program would be ready according to our sources and awaiting approval by the Council of Ministers.

Haiti voted for the exclusion of Russia from the HRC

Haiti is one of 93 countries that voted for the resolution in favor of suspending Russia from the Human Rights Council (HRC). The resolution received 93 votes for, 24 against and 58 abstentions.

No fuel shortage

Long lines are visible at gas stations in Delmas and Port-au-Prince. The Art Center on studio visits
