May this new mobilization lead to lasting action, for the benefit of the populations of the Southern Peninsula! On the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the international donors' conference, I met the delegation of mayors from the southern peninsula. I took the opportunity to thank them for their participation in this international event. The event of the day was intended to be a space of solidarity on the part of national and international actors. The general objective was to find funding levers for the recovery of the southern peninsula of Haiti through the mobilization of funds from our partners. We promise everyone, all donors, that this money will be used transparently in the service of the people of the Great South. We know it is taxpayers' money from other countries. We will make sure every dollar goes to those in need."
