The 1st qualifying round of the Confederation of North America, Central America and Caribbean Women's Championship (CONCACAF - 2022) is a very important competition for women's football in the area, as it serves, among other things, to qualifiers for three major international events : the Australia & New Zealand World Cup 2023, the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics and the 1st edition of the women's version of the Gold Cup in 2024.

Without putting pressure on them, our Grenadières Stars of the Haitian selection : Nérilia Mondésir, alias "NériGol" Melchie Daelle Dumornay alias "Corventina", Roselord Borgela alias "Borge" and their teammates, will have to give the maximum to allow Haiti to remain in the concert of Concacaf Nations who will fight for a place in each of these three competitions.

Remember that the CONCACAF has four direct places plus 2 half-places (inter-continental play-offs) for the Oceania World Cup, 2 tickets for Paris 2024. As for The Women's Gold Cup 2024, 12 national selections including 8 from the Concacaf zone and 4 invited teams will be expected. It will therefore be a fierce battle that 32 of the 41 teams of the confederation will fight to obtain the 8 tickets for the first edition.

The teams will play each other only once (two meetings at home and two away). Our Grenadières will "welcome" Honduras on February 17, 2022 and Cuba on April 12; the trips will take place on February 22 in Saint-Vincent and on April 9 in the Virgin Islands.

Last Minute : Due to the climate of insecurity in Haiti, our Grenadières will receive their opponents in the Dominican Republic.
