Haiti - 34th anniversary : Official ceremony in memory of the massacre of the ruelle Vaillant

Monday, November 29, Prime Minister ai Ariel Henry, on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the massacre of the ruelle Vaillant (November 29, 1987), went to the scene to pay tribute to the memory of the voters, who ballots in hand, have been killed by shot and machetes by soldiers during the first post-Duvalier elections, a massacre that left more than 30 dead and dozens injured. "On November 29, marking the 34th anniversary of the Vaillant Lane massacre, I lay this wreath in memory of our victims, peaceful citizens and voters, killed, ballots in hand, for the cause of democracy. May this heinous and barbaric act never happen again," Tweeted the Prime Minister.

According to the Prime Minister, such acts must never happen again.
