Hospital : Arrest of a suspected gang leader

Monday afternoon, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) arrested in a hospital in the capital of Wimson Hyppolite a suspected leader of a gang of Port-au-Prince while he was was being treated.

Exchange of fire between the PNH and the "400 mowozo" gang

Friday, November 12, 2021, several members of the "400 mowozo" gang were injured in an exchange of fire with the police during a checkpoint in the commune of Croix-des-Bouquets, informs Gary Desrosiers, the spokesperson for the Haitian National Police (PNH). Two vehicles Grand Vitara brand, on board which the individuals were, have been seized by the PNH. No casualties are to be deplored on the police side.

Fuel arrives in Haiti

This Monday, November 15, the tanker "MT Ridgebury Katherine Z" delivered 70,000 barrels to the Varreux terminal. The tanker "MT Electa" docked at Terminal Varreux in the afternoon with a cargo of 65,000 barrels of gasoline on board.

Attempted intimidation on Judge Gary Orélien

On Monday, the examining magistrate Gary Orélien in charge of the file of the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse asked for the strengthening of the security means at his disposal, denouncing an attempt at intimidation targeting his person, heavily armed men entered his office to ask him for information on the progress of the investigation.

Vertières : Closure of the Haitian consulate in Montreal

The Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal is advise the general public and the Haitian community in particular that its offices will be closed on Thursday, November 18, 2021 on the occasion of the commemoration of the Battle of Vertières.
