Saturday October 23, 2021, Liszt Quitel the Minister of Justice proceeded to the installation of Fritz Saint Fort as new as Chief Inspector General of the General Inspectorate of National Police of Haiti (IGPNH), a control service, of advice and investigation which also has the role of improving the functioning of the National Police. He replaces Inspector General Hervé Julien in this position.

In his remarks for the occasion Fritz Saint Fort assures that he will do everything to change the negative perception of the IGPNH considered as an instrument of persecution by the police. He promises that the IGPNH will not pronounce any sanction without investigation and that his institution will ensure compliance with the general regulations of the PNH.

IG Fritz Saint Fort has a long experience of the police institution where he gradually evolved by occupying positions of responsibility.

In 2012, Fritz Saint Fort was a member of the Cabinet of General Manager Godson Orélus;

In 2016, he was commissioned as Departmental Director of Nippes;

In June 2021, he was Deputy to the Central Director of the Administrative Police;

In July 2021, he was appointed Coordinator of the funeral operations of President Jovenel Moïse.
