Thursday, October 7, 2021, during a joint device set up in Delmas 105 by the police of Pétion-ville and agents of the Departmental Operation and Intervention Brigade (BOID) aimed at arresting suspicious individuals, the dangerous Gang leader "Ti Greg" of Delmas 95 and 2 of his henchmen were arrested.

"Ti Greg" was traveling in an unlicensed car followed by two of his men on motorcycles" when he fell into the net of the police, 3 handguns were seized. At the time of his arrest "Ti Greg" tried in vain to pass himself off as a police officer.

This device, which has been in place for two days, will continue as long as there are armed men in the area.

Many fear that with the proliferation of gangs, Pétion-Ville will become like other areas where gangs rule. Remember that this is already the case in the neighborhoods of Juvénat, Péguy-Ville, Jalousie to name a few.
