Haiti - Politic : Jean Max Bellerive, convened by the «Commission Justice and Security»
Jean Max Bellerive, Minister of Justice and Public Safety acting, is convened Tuesday by the "Commission Justice and Security" of the Chamber of Deputies.
A convening relating to the investigation following the death of Deputy Dionald Polyte and to the summonses issued by Me Jean-François Sonel, the Government Commissioner against Gaillot Dorsinvil (the President of the CEP), Ribel Pierre and Léonel Raphaël, members of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP).
The former Prime Minister resigned, should be accompanied for this hearing by the Government Commissioners of Port-au-Prince, Les Cayes and Mirebalais.
Last Friday, Reynold Georges, the lawyer of the 3 advisers of CEP at the center of a dispute with the Government Commissioner, visited the prosecution to defend its clients. The lawyer took the opportunity to launch a warning to Mario Andrésol, the Chief of Police Nationale d'Haiti (PNH) and Gotson Orélus, the Head of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), of not execute the summonses for embezzlement and criminal conspiracy made against three members of the CEP.
