Haiti - FLASH : Yvenel Étienne, the star singer of the Orchester Septentrional has died (Video)

The Orchester Septentrional is in mourning. Its star singer Yvenel Étienne (52) aka "Soré" or "Gason Djèdjè" died on September 7 at the Sacré Coeur hospital in Milot, where he had been hospitalized for a few days, suffering from diabetes and complications related to this disease.

The Orchester Septentrional very affected by this death, announced the suspension of its performances at the Acul du Nord "We had to prematurely end our traditional evening at the Acul du Nord after learning the devastating news of the death [...] 'Sore' has left an immeasurable void in our orchestra. May the earth be light to him," we read on the Group's Facebook page.

"I am appalled to learn of the death of star singer, Yvenel Etienne aka 'Soré', from the international fireball. With his melodious voice, he has conquered the hearts of several generations of music lovers. This mourning moves me deeply and I would like to send, in this unfortunate circumstance, my most heartfelt condolences to his family, to the members of the Northern Orchestra, to his unconditional fans and to the great musical family in general. Peace to his soul" declared in reaction to this news the former Deputy Cholzer Chancy
