Michel Présumé, the Director General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) installed at the head of the State enterprise in July 2020, threw in the towel and resigned on the evening of Thursday, August 19, 2021.

On his official Twitter account he explains:

"Public enterprises of a commercial nature obey the laws of the market to satisfy consumers and make them fulfill their obligations to service providers. When it is impossible to apply this principle, the conclusion must be drawn

I bring to the attention of customers in particular and the general public that I resigned from my post of Director General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) this Thursday, August 19, 2021.

I thank everyone who supported me during this experience."
