This Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 5:00 a.m., the center of tropical storm Grace was located at 15.8 degrees North of latitude and 55.6 degrees West of longitude.

Grace is moving west at nearly 22 mph (35 km/h). Westward movement with a gradual decrease in forward speed is expected over the next few days.

Depending on the forecast path, the center of the storm should move to the Leeward Islands tonight, to the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico on Sunday, the Dominican Republic on Monday then will pass over Haiti on Monday at the end of the day or on Tuesday night.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is expected over the next few days.

A weakening is expected early next week.

Grace is "a little tropical storm". Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 25 miles (35 km) from the center.
