This Thursday, July 21, 2011 and tomorrow July 22, will be held the 7th meeting of the Board of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC). Around 11 am will be held the official opening of the Exhibition of Prototype Houses and of the technology site, Green environment to the Zoranger, in the presence, among others, of the former President Bill Clinton and co-chair of the IHRC and the President Martelly.

Always in the afternoon the education plan of the President Martelly will be presented to the president Clinton. The personal support of the Clinton Foundation and the steps that former President will undertake to support the project, will be announced.

Parallely, at 3pm the President Martelly will decorate the President Clinton at the National Palace.

Tomorrow Friday will be held the introduction and the presentation of new members of the Board, and then the President Martelly will intervene to present the presidential strategy and vision for the future of IHRC. Then the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation will make an update on collaboration between Government and IHRC, which will be followed by a presentation on the call for proposals and call for funding by the Director of Projects. Just before the break mid-day will take place the status update on IHRC approved projects (PAO report) by the Performance and Anti-Corruption Office, and then the return to neighborhood and housing project will be presented.

According to a government official, Michel Martelly will ask to the IHRC to prolong its one-year term, he should make the request, tomorrow, Friday. The mandate of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission expires in October.

The President of the Republic would have named Karl Jean Louis, Laurent Lamothe, Patrick Rouzier, Klauws Eberwein, Harold Charles and Serge Coles Jr. as new members of the IHRC, the information is still to be confirmed, what is certain is that tomorrow Friday we will know with certainty the names chosen by the Head of State.
