Born in 1965 in La Grita, (Western Venezuela) and ordained priest in 1989 for the diocese of San Cristobal, Bishop Molina entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See in June 1998. He successively served in diplomatic representations of the Holy See in Sudan, Ghana, Malta, Nicaragua, Japan and Slovenia, before becoming Archbishop and Apostolic Nuncio in 2016, with double accreditation to the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville) and Gabon.
