Mrs. Sophia Martelly, the First Lady of Haiti, met yesterday Wednesday : Ogline Pierre (Camp-Perrin/Maniche), Marie Denise Bernadeau (Thomonde), Labbée Rufine (la Vallée de Jacmel) and Etienne Marie Jossie (Milot/Plaine du Nord) a group of four women deputies of the 49th Legislature.

These elected have informed the First Lady of certain difficulties faced by their constituencies and have requested her support in order to find appropriate solutions. The Deputy Marie Jossie of the constituency of Milot/Plaine du Nord, has stressed the need of the principle of quota of 30% of representation of women in state structures.

The First Lady has promised to conduct a solidarity visit in their constituencies.
