A garden dedicated to Toussaint Louverture in the heart of Paris

Monday, May 10, as part of the Memorial Day of the slave trade, slavery and their abolition, Ms. Anne Hidalgo, the Mayor of Paris, inaugurated in the presence of the Ambassador of Haiti in France, Josué Dahomey , a garden dedicated to Toussaint Louverture in the heart of Paris (20th arrondissement, opposite 35 rue Duris)

In addition, French President Emmanuel Macron declared "[...] 20 years ago, the French Republic, true to its motto, became the first State to recognize trafficking and slavery as a crime against humanity. Long before, Toussaint Louverture then Victor Schœlcher led the way. We don't forget them."

St-Raphaël : Construction of the power line is complete

The construction of the power line connecting the new 7.2 MW power station in St Raphaël and the existing network has been completed. The first tests with the intelligent substation were carried out on May 9, 2021. The tests will continue for optimal use of the network. CBIM and DCPR control operation

Sunday May 9, as part of police prevention, a team of motorcyclists from the Corps of Motorized Intervention Brigades (CBIM) and police from the Traffic Directorate of the Road Police (DCPR) carried out control operations throughout the metropolitan area under the personal supervision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian National Police (PNH) where the windows of 52 vehicles were rubbed off and 62 offenders reprimanded. 119 vehicles, 6 motorcycles and 1 vehicle without a license plate were confiscated.
