3 kidnappings per day

According to a study carried out by the crime observation cell of the Center for Analysis and Research in Human Rights (CARDH), in April at least 91 kidnappings were reported. The study points out that many kidnappings have not been reported, especially in Carrefour, Croix-des-Bouquets and Port-au-Prince, since the number of kidnappings can go beyond a hundred.
