Progress of the electoral process

Yesterday Wednesday, the nation was presented with a report on the progress of the electoral process :

- 4.5 million are registered for the referendum;

- an additional $9.2 million disbursed for preparations for the September 2021 elections;

-non-sensitive materials arrive mid May 2021.

2 artificial respirators have arrived

The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) has received from the Mexican Government, two artificial respirators as part of the fight against COVID-19 in Haiti. These two artificial respirators are part of a donation of four artificial respirators, the other two of which will arrive during the month of May. This donation is part of a program of the Mexican government for the countries of the Caribbean, entitled "Todos juntos contra la COVID-19" "All together against COVID-19".

32 years for the Pyepoudre Cultural Center

Tuesday April 27, Pradel Henriquez, the Minister of Culture paid a courtesy visit to the Pyepoudre Cultural Center which celebrated its 32 years of creation. Minister Henriquez has made no secret of his satisfaction with the career of this institution, which he considers to be one of the "matrices" of cultural institutions in the country.

Meeting with the National Council of Legal Assistance (CNAL)

Tuesday, following the decree appointing its members and as a prelude to their installation, as part of the Government’s efforts to facilitate access to justice. Rockefeller Vincent, the Minister of Justice had a working meeting with his colleagues from the National Council for Legal Assistance (CNAL). The installation of CNAL members soon is also part of the fight against "prolonged" pre-trial detention, for the benefit of litigants.

Training on money laundering

This Thursday, April 29, 2021, the Ministry of Justice is organizing a training workshop at the School of Magistrates for prosecutors on the issues and operating methods of money laundering. Friday, April 30, it will be a question of discussing the draft Constitution with prosecutors, clerks and bailiffs.
