Saint-Pierre Church : Denial of the PNH

The National Police of Haiti (PNH) denies the allegations according to which it would have used tear gas inside the Saint-Pierre church (Pétion-ville) during a mass for the religious victims of the kidnapping in the Ganthier area. The police officers of this jurisdiction reacted instead against acts of vandalism perpetrated by activists who disrupted the conduct of mass, provoked the police and set fire to a vehicle parked in front of the town hall.

Warning strike in fundamental classes

The Fundamental Teachers' Group for Renewed Education through New and Solidarity Actions (REFERANS) announces a warning strike from April 19 to 23, 2021, to condemn acts of criminality. This strike will affect the fundamental classes of the Basic School of Application and Pedagogical Support Center (EFACAP) and of the national schools in particular.
