Jude Jacques Elibert, Director General of the National Identification Office (ONI) informs that the registration process for the referendum, the elections and the delivery of National Identification Cards (NIC) is progressing rapidly. He specifies that as of March 10, 2021, 4,115,042 Haitian citizens both inside and outside the country have received their CIN and are already registered.

"More than 4 million voters already registered for the referendum of June 27 and the elections of September 19, 2021.

The Government, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) and international partners are working to strengthen the democratic process in Haiti," declared Frantz Exantus, Secretary of State for Communication.
