Under the direction of Webens Prinsimé alias "Itala”, the local Grenadiers who are part of the list of 50 pre-selected continue their preparation for the last phase of the qualifiers of the Concacaf U-23 championship, qualifying (Concacaf Zone) which will take place in Mexico, in Guadalajara from March 18 to 30, 2021 to win one of the 2 tickets for the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games,

Our young Grenadiers are preparing thoroughly and the technical staff multiplies the training matches in order to make the final adjustments and choose the best elements who will defend the Haitian colors in the competition.

The Grenadiers' Olympic selection will arrive in Mexico in small groups between March 7 and 10 to begin a period of acclimatization. Coach Itala plans to play two more test matches against Mexican clubs before his foals return to contention about a week after their arrival.

Schedule of qualifying matches (local time) Group B :

March 19 Haiti vs Honduras at 4:30 p.m .;

March 22 Haiti vs Canada at 7:00 p.m.

March 25 Haiti vs El Salvador at 8:00 p.m.

These 3 matches will be played at the Jalisco Stadium in Guadalajara, the 3rd largest Mexican stadium behind the Azteca Stadium and the Olympic Stadium in Mexico City.

If Haiti finishes in one of the first two places in its Group, our Grenadiers will play in the semi-finals, the two winners of which will go to Tokyo next summer to represent Concacaf at the 32nd Olympiad of the modern era which will take place in Japan from July 23 to August 8, 2021.

Remember that Group A of this final phase includes: Mexico, the United States, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
